BVSD Career & College Connections is excited to announce the launch of our new Career Exploration and Work-Based Learning platform: BVSD Pathfinder!
BVSD Pathfinder is a software program that will benefit all BVSD students by:
Guided, age-appropriate career exploration activities
Personal interest and aptitude assessments
Connecting interests to academic and community opportunities
And much more!
As we begin the rollout of this platform to students and staff, we are also continuing to populate it with industry partners and opportunities. This is where we need your help!
We are continuing our search for industry partners who are interested in supporting our programs through work-based learning. To learn more, we would like to invite you to attend our Connect 2 Business Workshop. At this workshop, you will learn about work-based learning and you will be guided through creating a company profile on the Pathfinder system so our students can learn about your company. You will also learn how to create opportunities to engage with teachers and students in BVSD programs that align to your needs.
Our first goal for the launch of Pathfinder is to ensure that as students and staff engage with this tool throughout the fall, they are able to see how Pathfinder will help increase career-connected learning. In order to reach this goal, we need our industry partners to create their profiles!
