Council pay increase, rental, utility taxes may appear on Boulder ballot

Daily Camera – Boulder voters may see an extension of the utility occupation tax, a new tax on short-term vacation rentals and a pay increase for City Council members on their November ballot.

There also may be a “head tax” on people who work in the city, a tax long supported by Boulder Mayor Matt Appelbaum and gaining momentum as the city engages in a heated debate over development.  Read more
