Tech powerhouse Rule4 hosts first Tech Talent: Boulder/Broomfield event of 2024

Community and industry come together! 

On Thursday, February 22, the Tech Talent: Boulder/Broomfield Sector Partnership convened at global cybersecurity and technology advisory services firm Rule4, ranked #1 on Outside’s 2023 Best Places to Work. With cybersecurity and talent recruitment among this industry’s top strategic priorities, Rule4 was the perfect host.

In addition to the above guests, industry partners were asked to give direct feedback on how they want to engage strategic priorities and what they want to get out of the partnership in 2024. Current priorities include talent and recruitment, startup and operations, DEI initiatives and cybersecurity.

Looking Ahead: 

  • Industry identified the need for better methods of engaging with students to broaden their recruitment strategies and improve the long-term talent pipeline. 
  • Partners discussed the issue of talent retention and the importance of relationship building, skills-based hiring and investing in training to foster loyalty and increase employee satisfaction. 
  • Call to action for greater industry representation at regular convenings to continue to identify challenges and create resources.
