In addition to the above guests, industry partners were asked to give direct feedback on how they want to engage strategic priorities and what they want to get out of the partnership in 2024. Looking Ahead:
- Industry identified the need for better methods of engaging with students to broaden their recruitment strategies and improve the long-term talent pipeline.
- Partners discussed the issue of talent retention and the importance of relationship building, skills-based hiring and investing in training to foster loyalty and increase employee satisfaction.
- Call to action for greater industry representation at regular convenings to continue to identify challenges and create resources.
Thank you to Rule4 and Caleb Corell for providing their space and helping to coordinate the meeting.
